Keeping up with myself

Hey bloggers.Apologies for not keeping this bloggie updated.
Well thats cause I've been going through some pretty busy weeks with quizes and catching up with bloody assignments *rolls eyes*.

Have you ever wondered how people started to blog?
Well thats when something happened in their life and they really need to pen it down somewhere and just let it all out.For me,I usually feel like blogging only when *the reason above* and also whenever an important event took place in my life.So here I am,so filled with motivations and thoughts trying to keep myself updated!

Remember how I have ALWAYS been complaining about bloody mqa subjects in college, well I still hate them as usual.Realised that throughout my whole college life so far,it is the subjects that kept me stressing all the time.Apart from dragging my classes to be up to 7,the quizes and projects are just so sooooo annoying.Anyway, one good thing is that my mqa days are going to come to its end and datelines for both assignments are due next week.Stressful yes,but I just LOVE to get it over and done with it.
College life is getting tiring. Its hard to say..but I really felt the pressure crawling all over to me.Well not only to me,but I could see how tired my college mates are these days.Wouldnt wanna say this, but sometimes the extra classes and homeworks and quizes are taking the toll on us.Well, college life..they say. It'll be fun they say.Everyone seem to be taking in the fact that time is whooping by realllyyyy quickly and we're about to sit for our very first big exam (excluding mocks).Maybe that explains why I really need to get my game going!

So I really need to get some things off my chest.
You see,I really dont get why people would like to create issues that weren't even there in the first place?Yes overthinking might lead to that, but how screwed up can a person be to do things that will hurt not others but themselves.I just know that I dont need and DONT WANT any unncessary childish acts to take place in my life.Keeping with myself is hard enough,so I reaally dont need to keep up with you too.Its always best to keep a certain distance from certain people, not because you hate them..just cause you dont want your hate towards them to grow over time!So forgive me,I just really need a break from you.

Ckiat's birthday!

It's been two weeks!
As I mentioned, went to Cameron Highlands with a bunch of friends/groupmates to complete our Malaysian studies project.I know..so much hassle and all but had quite a good time over there just by spending time and breathing in cool air.Not gonna blog about it here cause I have yet to get the pictures from the photographers.Glad that we have done the first part of the project and now we can proceed to the next and get things done! :)

The new start after a long break was fine..a little dreadful.Like..how do you expect after 3 weeks of comfort laziness and now back to "normal" routines pffft.hahha.Stress starts to kick in as we soon discovered that time is flying and november is about to come.Worse, its already time to register for Jan exam.Probably a good way to kick start myself.A good way to let myself know, okay Jean..time to moveeeeee your lazy ass!

So it was Kiat's birthday 2 days ago and we sorta planned a dinner for him about a week before that.hahah.We even set the theme as PURPLE considering the fact that
he's such a Belieber :P  anyway, since not everyone owns a purple top or dress so we changed it to pink and purple and blue!So bubblegum-ish,huh?

So Mathura planned for each of us to write on a piece of colourful paper and we would compile it together in a "book" to replace the whole birthday card idea.Me,of course, being typical Jean would choose pink!hahaha.Wrote pretty much some craps on the paper and found a picture of Justin Bieber on the cover of the Cleo magazine in my cupboard. That immediately gave me the thought that "ohhh myyy gooooooooodddd i neeeed tooooo puuuttttt thiissssss innnnnnnnnnnnnnn!" LOL and soo I did.hahahha his reaction when he opened to my page was "OH MY GAWDD" LOL.maybe secretly he was thinking awwww jean is so sweeeeet :P (forgive my self-loving moment)

Went to Kim Gary in Midvalley for the birthday dinner.
It was a short, simple but hopefully something he wouldnt forget :)

Sunday, September 2

Here comes another goodbye

First of all,
I am so sooo sorry that I couldnt keep my promise to blog about USS as mentioned in the post before.Well i tried but then laziness took over (yes I admit) and I dont have many pictures on it.Most of the pictures were stuck in the dslr which its card reader are no where to be found.Next time maybe? :/

Currently while posting this,I'm in my lovely Ipoh room for one last night before god-knows-how-long I will be back here.3 weeks has gone so fast. Its crazy!Funny how things just flew by me like it has a speed of infinity power. We're already in the month of September like wow. That means I am officially a 2 month old college girl.It happened without me realising it.
I remember two months ago when I was still having doubts about how my college life will turn out to be.Here I am..going through the whole packing for KL thing :/

Kinda glad that I managed to catch up with some loved ones during this break.Yeap..that is sort of a miracle since everyone is ALWAYS busy with their own things like forever. And oh!Yee Laine came back from Sg last Thursday. So no matter what,I made myself a promise that I MUST meet up with her with or without anyone else.Anyway, glad that Daphne,Ash and Jia have time to meet up too.Its like rekindling the old times. Those times when we were in uniforms all struggling with SPM books and stuffs like rangers and tradimode.

Met up in Jusco and sat down for some drinks.Being around their presence just somehow gives me this comfort. You know..that feeling of being around  old friends and people who makes you feel at home :) hehehe.Catched up a little about each other.I even asked Jia and Ash about some f6 gossips.Surprisingly they have some interesting ones.hehehe.Funny thing about scandals is that everyone will always be interested to listen about it.omg I sound like a 8 poh.or worse..like those pasar aunties wth.ANWAYS,we're girls..sooo forgivable! :D

Was able to have dinner with the childhood loves too!
It was a short one,but as I mentioned..I have to understand that not everyone have time for me.Sad but thats how it is.hahaha.
Had Wendy's at AEON station 18

We also headed over to Sakae Sushi for some after-dinner thing?Actually its cause the portion of food @ Wendy's are like..so little. That could be like some sort of appetizer only hahah.

We also went for a short pasar malam walk around Regine's housing area. That was my first cause the usual one that I go to will be the Tuesday night one.hahaha.Ohhhh the love for foooooooood.Couldnt help but to let myself drown into the aroma of the fried stuffs there :X

A blurry picture taken after pm :)

Was bugging Darren about the porridge and cap go at Tong Sui Kai throughout the whole holiday.Been telling him that I wont go back to KL without the taste of the food there. After much delaying and all,we went there like..two nights ago.Let me tell you,I've never been that happy eating!Going back to KL means...leaving food paradise here :(

So dreaded to leave tomorrow.
Anyway, this is something I have to do.Looking on a brigther side,I'll get to meet the college mates again! :)

Goodnight world :)

Lion land 2012

Hi hi there again. This is probably the second week of my holidays and yet,I have not completed ALL the homeworks given.and I'm here blogging (ironic much).Anyway, just wanna spend some time blogging about the recent family trip that we had to kiasu land!oops..i mean..Singapore :)

Yes this is probably the third trip I had there.
E last time was when I was in form 3 and we had this short shopping trip there.Been planning on this one about a month ago with sis before I even left for college. However,we planned to go there and 'attack' the crazy sales to get some clothes and even baby stuffs (few months away from the big day!).HOWEVER,plans changed because bro and dad agreed to follow along this time. You know..the hassle of having guys around when girls are shopping. So we switched up the plans a bit and made it into something more...family-oriented?

First day
Took Firefly flight there from Ipoh.We would actually take a bus or so but having a pregnant lady around..mmm..impossible!hahaha.Our flight was at 11.35 and we arrived at the airport at about 11 to get all the procedures done.

(P.S I will put most pictures in collages form to save space )
Everyone before departure!

Ooh I sat alone during the flight. But it was okay..comfy and all.Reached Singapore land at about one o clock and bro-in-law came and picked us up.

First stop : Turtle soup for lunch!
This is probably one of the reason why bro likes to visit Singapore. As cruel as it is,the turtle soup taste reeaaallllllyyy good.Guilty pleasure :( anyway,I shall forgive myself since its not like I take this every week or something.hahaha.Dad tried this for the first time and we're glad that he liked it too! :)

Next stop,bro-in-law dropped us off at Marina Bay Sands for some sight-seeing and shopping.
Initially our hotel should be there but because it is a public holiday (Hari Raya),the hotel was fully booked and I dont get to enjoy swimming at the sky-high swimming pool :(

What we did there was shopping and shopping.no wait...more of like WINDOW SHOPPING.The thing is..the place there is really high-end so we couldnt really get anything that is oferrr...our price.hahahah.Sis managed to get her baby stuffs though and we bought ice-cream as desserts. It is quite a nice complex, and it was pretty crowded too actually. They have a skating rink there which bro and I thought it was an ICE skating rink.

Some of the pictures I took of them.

 Macaroons,anybody?

If you ever use the MRT passage to the Gardens by the Bay,you'll get to see nice creative walls along the long passage way.of course,we took advantage to take some pictures.Bro was with the DSLR all the time and he had to keep helping sis and mum to take pictures.Literally every walls were painted with different colours and different flowers.ME..of course, camwhored with the diff walls.hehehe.
hahaha i find this funny.Sorry for the blur shot at the 4th.Seriously,I smiled the same way in every picture.LOL See how the backgrounds are of different flowers? :)

Outfit of the day!
Then we crossed the bridge from the complex to Gardens by the Bay
Its sort of a new place in singapore right now since it was only opened a month ago I guess?Sis and I thought it will be a suitable place for mum and dad since its all about nature and sceneries.
Turns out,it is quite a nice place indeed! For those of you who enjoy just walking around, watching plants and good ol nature,Gardens by the bay is a must-go!

They have names for their Gardens like Indian garden,Chinese garden and Malay Garden.Sis and I were talking about how racist they made nature look.LOL.As you walk in,each garden has its own uniqueness according to the name/race that was given. For example, they have lotus in the chinese garden. They even have Indian patterns on boards of the Indian garden. It really gives you the feeling that you're in some cultural garden.hahah.On the day that we went, the place was packed i tell you, sandwich packed! But then again,as I said..its probably cause of the fact that we went on a public holiday. The weather was also pretttyyy hot so advice to all, please bring a cap when you visit the garden.

Just a shot of me in the Chinese Garden. Was wearing a floral dress from Brands :)

Other places like the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome.
For those of you who planned to visit these two places,it will be way helpful if you can book the tickets for going.Like for us,we gave up lining up because the line was currr-ra-zehh!

At night,we waited till 8pm for the Light & Water show at Gardens.
Apparently, its a show of the LED lights that will light up what I call the little mushrooms at the Gardens.
Sis bro and I secured a pretty good spot from the bridge right across to have a nice view of it.

Constantly the lights kept changing colours and it has various patterns on it.It was written on the pamphlets that there will be water spurting out of it and that we will get to enjoy the light and water effects.Well, the thing is..I even went to look at the video of the show to get a rough idea what the show is about.Sis and I kept waiting and waiting for the water to come.To our dismay, there was no water! It would have been better with some water effects.Maybe sis was right..they did not pay their water bill that month LOL

Did some research on what we could do in Marina Bay Sands before the trip.
I even asked around.Shu Yee then mentioned to me about a Harry Potter exhibition that will be held in MBS.Immediately,I got excited.I mean..come on,I grew up watching Harry Potter and I've been on the movie from the first till the 7th instalment.hahah.So bro and I bought ourselves ticket each to get into the exhibition.Didnt know what we can expect from it,but I'm sure it will be something relatable to our childhood :)

One thing though, its sad that we weren't allowed to have flash photography inside the exhibition hall. Before we entered,we were given a Hogwarts scarf each for some sort of photoshoot for those who wish to purchase it for memory purposes. For the first room that you enter, they will make the whole touring as though as you're entering the real Hogwarts (well that is if you really remember the first movie). The most interesting part is that they used to Sorting Hat to "sort" out the volunteers before proceeding to the rest of the hall.Hahhaha.Then we went on our own, looking at all the cool exhibition stuffs.Like literally the items  were well displayed with helpful signboards describing in which installment that the items were used and who used it.Remember the pretty dress that Hermoine wore during the Yule Ball?Yes I saw it there too!
and oh,there will be souvenirs sold too.You get to purchase the chocolate frog, and some books, wands, broomstick, hoodies, shirts and the scarf.Seriously I regretted for not getting the Griffindor hoodie :(

So for you Potterheads, this is an exhibition that you should not miss!

 Taken outside the exhibition hall

Day Two

Woke up early to have some breakfast right across the hotel. We walked by the river to a stretch of coffee houses.Omg I tell you the smell of coffee.mmmph! It was about 10 in the morning and we decided to indulge into some English breakfast.

Then we took the shuttle bus service provided by the hotel to Orchard Road.
First stop,Takashimaya!Here...didnt get much stuffs.Except that sis got her baby stuffs since the equipments here seems much much cheaper.oh yeah, got myself a great organiser/mousepad.
Then we headed off to Mandarin Oriental for lunch.According to sis, there's this great japanese restaurant that sells great ramen.hahaha .The first thing I said when we reached was like "ARE YOU CRAZY?!" thats cause the waiting line was..jaw-dropping.Seriously how good is the ramen there?

We only got to sit after 45 minutes of wait.
Crazy but it was reaaalllly worth the wait.Seriously,so good!Even saw Andrea Fonsenka there.Could've said hi but maybe I wasnt too sure whether it was her or not.hahaha.

We then took the cab to Bugis Street.
It was indeed a place for teens.I mean..comparing,,its almost like the Hip Hop arena we have in Ipoh Parade. However, its a place with all the nice fashion stuffs and bags and accesories and all the other things.hahaha.Not much of a place for adults.Didnt get to buy any school bag because nothing really attracted me there. How sad.Anyway, bought some new ribbons! :D

All 6 for 10$.Which makes it RM 24.
God knows what's up with me and ribbons these days *shakes head*

hehehe.and that makes up day 2.
I would LOVE to continue about day 3 but that will be another longggg post since we spent the whole day in USS.and also its 1.39am here and I'm suppose to be submerging myself into bio facts.hehehe
To be continued tomorrow.

Goodnight bloggers!

Holiday week ONE

Before I start blogging on my first week of holidays,
lets rewind back to the few days before leaving KL just cause I had great time then :)

On thursday night,
the housemates held a "welcome" dinner for me.Awww..wouldnt you like it when you're appreciated or at least,notified?hahah.Yeah..so we had steamboat that night. Was looking forward to it since the whole day in classes. That was probably my first "home-cooked" food I had in lensa.Like seriously.Anyways, when I walked by outside the house after a long day of classes,I could literally smell the aroma of the food.Hahaha okay maybe I was too hungry thats why.
We started off dinner at about 6+ if i'm not mistaken. While waiting for the water to boil,we had a short "ice-breaking" session.hahahha it started with the question..
"What was your first impression on us?"
hahah well,I was a little nervous then but it was alright.I told the truth.I mean..whats the point of lying right? :)

We moved on by ME asking them what was their first impression on me *evil laughs*
So Lo thought I just look really really fair and Helena thinks I'm a rich girl.(NO WAY I AM).Apparently she could name every labels that I'm wearing on the first day there.hahahah yes sis would be happy to hear that -__-
And things got more and more personal LOL.Asking questions like "Have you tried french kissing?" "something something SXX" "Do you mind watching porn?" "Do you discriminate lesbianism?" HAHAAHA.very VERY funny bunch of questions. But I'm glad that we had some short get-to-know session.Wasnt superbly long but enough for a good start. Was also feeling so soooo thankful for their effort to have the dinner. You know...days before I moved in,I kept wondering how will my housemates and roommates be.Will I be too annoying to them? Will they isolate me?Will they hate me? But lucky for me,none of that happened..so far?hahaha.Anyway, they're a really nice bunch of people and I could see myself living comfortably and peacefully after a long day of classes for the next one and a half year :)

(P.s I wonder if they will see this post.hmm..that could be possible since they (Helena i mean) would stalk me.If you're seeing this,Hi Helena! )

Took some pictures before returning back to Ipoh.
my ninnie!Gonna miss for throughout this whole 3 weeks.I hope that she will enjoy being home in JB and shopping at JPO hahaha.and oh,told my cousin who runs all advertising stuffs that she has a really good voice and she can rap reallllly well and got her recording demo so that she can use her talent to the max :D

 With the Michelle(s) :D

urghhh the naughty bunch.will miss them!

------

Okay back to my first week of holiday,
what I did so far was baking, baking and baking!
hhehee.

The first batch I made are lemon cupcakes!
Wait..that is probably the first time I make something besides chocolate.
hahah it turned out fine ( a lil sour though) but fine!

Its actually pretty simple to make.
The only tricky part is the amount of lemon rind and juice to be put in :X

Batch #2
(sorry god know why i cant rotate this picture -__- )

Chocolate cupcakes with fondant.
This was specially requested by sis.Ohhh pregnant ladies and their random cravings.LOL.I decided to make it pink because I LIKE PINK.and I will force my future niece to be a pink fan too and we can sooooo be bestfriends *bimbo mode* hahah. As you can see,the cat there..well it was suppose to be Hello Kitty. Now its only called "what-should-be-Hello-Kitty" or a "whiskersless Hello Kitty".Now its just some Hello Kitty that we used to know.oh boy I really suck at this.hahaha but mum and sis said they look cute.Do they?THAT you call CUTE??

Batch #3

heehhe.I know..PINK AGAIN -___-

Anyway, will be flying to Singapore tomorrow.
Marina Bay Sands,USS,Taka wait for meeeeee! (and a pregnant lady, and a jerk and an aunty)

Just memories...
