Baby V's full moon

So..as promised,I'm here to blog about Victoria's full moon buffet.

So days before the real date,the initial plan was to celebrate it at Royal China itself since sis and bro-in-law insist of having their food.Then I thought,well if we were to celebrate there,we can't really call as much people as we can and it will be much easier for everyone if we would just have the buffet at home.Then invitations were called out for and its just too bad that dad's side of the family couldnt come.Actually that pretty much minus of the biggest number of people that will attend the buffet.

So,I went to Meru around afternoon.Couldnt think of what to wear,then I thought "Gahhhh its only a home dinner and nobody will pay any attention to me anyways!" so i put on my high waisted shorts and a sleeveless top.Well clearly my attire got rejected by both sis and mum.And then sis claimed that I'm her sister and I should dress classy -____- Tell me what logic is this!

Anyhows,just ransacked through sis's wardrobe and she chose a simple,casual Cotton On dress for me.Okay casual seems fine for me and the weather yesterday was really hot so wearing a cotton dress is not such a bad idea after all :)

And oh!Before I forget,Aunt Elena flew to Ipoh from Sg just to attend the buffet and of course to see baby V.She's such a sweetheart so put in so much effort to make a photo album for baby v.DIY from the first page to the last.She made the photo album so soooo interactive and it has such a vintagy victorian design.Sis and I were soooo jealous of baby V.How thoughtful of her make every detail of her own.

I'm amazed.

And its an ordered present.Thank you aunt elena!This jewellery storage chair is soooooo meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

It was quite a busy day I would say.

Sis was busy taking care of baby V and I was busy taking care of sis's other businesses.Like I said,I was hired as her personal assistant so all I really do is to hold her phone and reply all her messages (including fb,whatsapp and sms).And then I had to take care of the timing,when the caterer will be there  and all the other stuffs.But what we were both excited about is waiting for the cupcakes we ordered! :D

From upstairs I could see the baker coming and shouted "She's here she's here!" LOL.

At about 7-ish,most of the guests had arrived so the dinner started.

Winni and I took the food a little later because..well..its courtesy for the host to do so right?

Honestly,I really couldnt remember what I ate yesterday.Well its like those usual Tai Thong food you know,the chinese fried rice,the shark-fin soup? (Yeah there was this shark fin soup but I guess its the fake one or they replaced it with something else),some pork,some chinese veges here and there.Well a full moon dinner is never really complete without those red eggs :) Why ah?Come some explain to me please?LOL.

So glad to have my family friends to come too.

Somehow,some family occassions will not be complete without all of them.So nice of all the aunts and uncles always helping out with little stuffs at each other's party.You know stuffs like..buying stuffs,packing and cleaning.This never fails to make me feel so blessed being surrounded by such awesome "families" :)

So tell me one time that Regine doesnt camwhore when we're together.

Nope,there isn't any ONE time.Not that I remember :X

And then there was nothing much left for me to do.So us youngsters just chill about.

Ji Zen suggested us to a game of cards called "Bluff"

So I'mma first timer in this.and when I heard the title of the game I went 

"Sooo this is lying game?We lie?"hahaha.Apparently Darren knows how to play soo Regine and I basically got trashed the whole time.Come on mannn,I'm an honest innocent girl :DD

But hey!I won for the second round.Not too bad for a second-timer (if there's such thing)

The night went pretty well.

Everyone was pretty happy to see baby victoria.Well she was actually sleeping for about one hour plus but let me tell you,the house was soooo noisy and nothing can stop her from her beauty sleep LOL.

Now that she's finally a month old (2 days away actually),I hope she continues to develope into a cute little girl sis and I imagined she would be.Even if she doesnt,we all will still love her! :)

Merry-lonely-christmas

Hey all,sorry for the belated wish but better late than never,right? :)

Merry Christmas!

Wonder how did everyone else celebrated their christmas.Mine?Well,christmas seems a little..different this year.Oddly quiet and invisible.Of course,it may be because of the fact that I'm not celebrating in Fraser Hill this year,with my noisy little nephews and nieces and aunt's mince pie and turkey *wipes drools* Well its pretty understandable that our family is now filled with newborns and no one will be able to make it to the hills.Everyone seems pretty busy keeping up with crying babies and no one would have the time to be there.So I guess its alright..christmas this year seems to just whoooosh pass me.hahah.But oh!I'm just thankful that I was able to go for some christmas shopping in kl before coming back.heh :)

So today is officially the mid day of my 3 weeks study break.

OH SHIT.so sooooo doomed for exams.Its just reallllly odd for the fact that everyone is having their sem break whatsoever and we have study break.Darren is right,when everyone's enjoying their holidays we're studying but when everyone is studying we're enjoying our holidays.hahaha.Back to the subject,pretty much done reading so far.Sometimes I wonder,oh how did I manage to be so hardworking last time and now I'm like the laziest potato couch.I really wanna be the old me,the one that people used to call me crazy for overworking myself because the me right now,is not gonna help me get what I wanted in college.Urghhh Jean why can't you be more hardworkinggggg?It's superbly true that college is a much more different dimension than high school.Competitions are tougher,people are different.Transitions do suck,dont they?

End of The World,supposingly

hey all!

Today's date is pretty significant.Its sort of the date that everyone's been "looking forward" to.Much speculations and all going round and round about today.It's 21/12/2012,come onnnn.Well,back then (3 years ago) right after the release of the movie 2012,admit it,all of us were freaked out for the worst may happen.Funny how as 2012 draws nearer and nearer,this whole freaking out thing seems to somehow lessen.Strange,huh?

Soooooo,

just the fact that I'm still here,STILL BLOGGING in my room while munching on some Ribena pastilles,pretty sure everyone got the idea that the world isn't ending,yet.One thing I'm pretty annoyed with is that all these lame facebook users posting statuses like 

"Before the world ends,I just wanna let you know I love you"

"On 22nd December 2012,I will post a status stating I survived"

"Those mayans are trolling us"

"OMG I'm tweeting from heaven!"

Like...CAN YOU ALL JUST SHUT THE FISH UP?!

I just feel like the more they say stuffs like that,the more jinx they put on this whole thingy.How brainless can people be?I mean...just keep quiet to yourself and take the moment to thank God that we were given longer lives to live,not make fun of something that MAY actually be true.

On a brighter note,

3 more days to Christmas!

Strength within

Realising that people are just meant to bring me down.

I mean..that's just what I've sorta been dealing my whole life.Been there,done that.

From secondary to even now,college!Shucks how I can never get away from situations people like that,people who just ENJOYS picking me.Well,look...the only person I would wanna outdo is definitely me,myself and I.So you can keep up with your own sick thoughts and I will keep up with my own efforts :)

And I really cant stand people who ENJOYS staring unwanted dramas.

I dont need all of those in my life.Pretty sure I have (almost) everything that really evaluates my life in a proper manner.

Sometimes,bad things are good (in some ways)

Bad things motivates me! :D

So,thats just my thoughts for tonight.

No time to waste.The clock is ticking and I need to get back to my books!

Home,once again

Hey y'all!

Blogging from where I call "home sweet home" :D

Reached back here at about 6-ish on Friday and dad drove me straight to meru to see baby V :)

So my first reaction when I met her in person was, omg she's so small and she looks really fragile so I feel kinda doubtful to hold her hahah.But then again,I did hold her after all,gotta learn how to take care of her and all.Had my first home-cooked food after so long and mmm!Nothing beats that!Nothing beats nutritional,well cooked food :)

So sis bought this dough thingy for baby footprints while we were shopping @ Marina Bay few months ago.The plan was to imprint baby V's tiny little feet for as you know..memories and stuffs.

So,sis was waiting for me to come back to help her with this.What we had in mind was "Oh,this should be easy.We can just lay out the dough,roll it into thin sheet and imprint her feet on it.then just let it to dry"

and so we started off rolling the dough and all.It did not turned out to be how easy we thought it is!!The dough was too sticky,this and that this and that and the first time we tried with her feet,the dough just got stuck on her soles.The whole fam jumped in to help with all the rolling and after so much trial,we finally came out with this :)

 After leaving it to air-dry for about 36 hours(?) ,we put it in a frame like this :

So have you guys ever heard of Pinterest?

Its a pretty cool app/social network/pictures sharing network.

Been looking up for so many pretty DIY stuffs over there.Well,one thing's for sure,I hope Pinterest wont  get tooooo mainstream like how twitter instagram fb etc are right now.pffft.
